Woods TW-222's. As soon as I get the money for them and pushrods, that's the way I'm going. 95.40/112.95. See the dyno chart on FuelMoto site HERE

Talk to Frank at Drago (site sponsor) about his setup. TMax tuner, Dragula 2:1 exhaust, max flow breather, TMan 555TQ cams. Search this site to find dyno charts for 95+ HP, 100+ torque with this combo. Doing cams to finish build when I get back from Daytona. Good luck.

I had a set of 222's in my street glide for a bit. They pulled hard but fell fast. I felt like it hit a brick wall @3800 rpm. I didn't like it. I swapped them out for a set of 555's and was in love. I pulled them out of my street glide before I traded it in this past weekend. I haven't decided if I'm going to put them in my road glide. I might try something else. I really liked the bottom end torque of the 222's but I like the mid/high range of the 555's. I guess it I could find a cam with both.

May have to check on the 555's. Good with stock heads/pistons?

I swapped out the stock head gaskets for a set of .030 headgaskets on my street glide but on my road glide I'm not going to swap the headgaskets unless I put a set of ported heads on :)

To answer your questions stock heads and pistons will work perfect.

Check out woods tw6g great all around cam kind of like the old andrews ev27 in the evolution motor also you may want to look at the 204 hd cams it also is a very good performer, My mech will pull out the hd255 and replace them with the hd204 cams I had 204 in 3 of my previous bike and think they work extreemly well if your not going for an all out build

All cams come with a trade off. How big the trade off is depends on the supporting factors. Supporting factors are compression, intake/exhaust combos AND riding style.

An early close like the 222's and 255's gives you a big boost with stock compression but it's going to stop breathing earlier than a late close cam. The drop off at higher RPM is still going to be higher than stock. If you think winding it out means hitting 4500-5k RPM, you will probably be quite happy with an early intake close cam.

Well....i'm very green on the subject.....I blow the money on my toys, and normally go with the suggestion of my dealer. My 2010 SG had the 251 cam, and I cand remember what else.....they put the SE heads on, and I had the crappy manual compresion release buttons. I was getting close to 100 & 100....strong bottom.
I'm assuming my dealer wont order woods? If theres a way, I'm looking for about the same numbers or better, but without head work, or compression release things......I'm guessing i'm dreaming? I would like stronger mid this time....I think....lol.....Heck, told ya I was green. What about the 555's? But is there a lot more work involved?

Doesn't hurt to ask. Depends on the dealer. Some want nothing to do with hot rod stuff and will stick with the emissions versions of the 'hot rod' cams. Like the 255 and anything with an "e" on it. I think a 555 sounds like a good jumping off point, then again I live above 3k, you won't see me shifting below 3k unless I have a cop on my ass or I'm almost outta gas. :D

Some guys think 3k is high rpm...

I asked my dealer and they agreed to put in TMan 555TQ's. I bought the cams and took them to install. Bought SE pushrods, bearings and seals from them. Worked out real well. And now I can't keep off the throttle!!! Frank was dead on with the cams along with Dragula's. Will post dyno chart when I get a few more miles on the setup with auto tune.
