The museum was one of the top ten coolest things i have ever seen in my life !!!! If you are in the Carolina area you have to got stop and see this place. The bikes in it were just so breath taking !!! There were total stockers and choppers !!! If you like old American iron this is the place to go and drool. The owner Dale was milling around and talking to everyone. The image is a kid with some really cool toys that wants all the other kids to enjoy too !!! The other curators were overly nice and more then willing to answer questions.I saw an airplane that had some type of motorcycle on it.I did get a look at a snow mobile that contained an ancient Indian motor on it.The Wall of Death exhibit/show was there too !!!! Now you talk about something that might have shaped my life and caused me to get into showbusiness !! Talk about old skool carnival side show with a barker gritty performers this was it !!!!! A true site to behold if you have never seen this act before. Once you leave thewre about 11 miles away is the start of HWY 209 The Rattler !!! It posseses 290 curves in only 24 miles. The ride will take you from 55 mph to 15 mph !!! It is truly spectacular and the views well the mountains speak for themselves. It was such a beautiful without a smidgen of rain anywhere !!! Thank you Jesus for the life you have given me to live !!!!! Only because of you this is all possible.

I will be in that area for a week or so in Sept. Where is this museum you speak of? I am not familiar with it and it sounds worth a visit.

How was the rest of your ride?

You know the rules :pictures are required or it didn't happen.

+1 on how cool WTT is. Stopped there last year on a weekend with h-donut and my wife. The best part for me is that most of the bikes run: and they will fire them up for you if you ask. And then ride it through and out of the museum and around the grounds.

Just as a matter of interest, Dale Walksler, the owner of Wheels Thru Time now has a 30 minute show on the Velocity channel "What's in the Barn" is the name of it. I just watched the 1st show, interesting.

Their hours are fairly stable now, Thursday thru Monday, closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Went there Memorial Day weekend, 2012 & was issued a free annual pass for being a veteran. How cool is that? Went again last fall with my wife & the pass was honored no question. Definitely cool!

Went through the museum a few months ago and I will agree that
it is most definitely worth the trip. The folks that work there are so
enthusiastic about their jobs that you can't help but enjoy yourself.
Plus the owner is always milling about and more than willing to
answer questions and show the bikes. You must ask about the
rarest bike in the world. They have it and it is a cool story.
