I got the garage heater working this weekend and I was pretty busy. THe bike is a 2011 Screamin Eagle Road Glide. The stock shield on this bike isn't much different than the one that came on my 2008 Road Glide, so I knew a replacement was going to be needed. I picked up a 14" Windvest and a 16 CeeBailey as spec'd for the 2010/2011 FLTRU. I've taken pictures of all three mounted to the bike. All three shields were well made and nicely finished. No distortion in any of them. They all fit very well and mounted easily. I used the upgraded mounting kit that CeeBailey supplied with their shield. I forgot to take a picture of the height of the Windvest. it was 12" from the gauge pod trim piece, as measured just like the other two.

The thicknesses of the shields were as follows:

S.E. .190"
WV .115"
CB .165"

The CeeBailey certainly provides the most surface area and will probably be the one I keep, although it may me a touch too tall. It hasn't gotten above freezing out here in two weeks, so I won't be doing any test rides for a little while yet. I'll keep everyone posted once I get them out on the road. However, it won't be a real fair test until summer when I remove the lower fairings. They keep a lot of the wind at bay and when they are off the windshield comes more into play.

The first two pics are of the stock shield

I wish I knew all you guys were going to sell your SE shields. I just bought one and I love it. In my opinion it is made better then Cee Baileys and clearview and I have had both before including several CB's.

CVO shield

I've gotten a few comments about the CVO windshield and want to repeat what I wrote in a different thread for those of you contemplating spending $200+ bucks on one of them.

I have, sitting in my garage, the stock windshield from my 2008 RoadGlide. I now have the stock windshield from my 2011 CVO RoadGlide sitting right next to it. I can tell you in no uncertain terms that, other than the thickness, these two shields are almost identical. The height is identical. The outline of the shields is within 1/2" of each other along the sides. The CVO shield is slightly more convex and significantly thicker. I cannot imagine that there is any significant difference in the airflow or protection of one shield against the other. It's your cash, so if you want to spend it on a CVO shield, be my guest. Just seems like a waste of money if you are going from a stock 16" shield.

"The CVO shield is slightly more convex and significantly thicker."
For me it was worth the money $195 via zanotti's. The gasket vs the rubber trim alone is worth some money. Some times it is the little things.
