anyone seen or used the Windvest 15" or 16" windshield. Was looking at the website and seen they now offer these sizes.

I'm sure there are some people on here who did the testing on these. If I remember correctly Tami from Windvest had come to the forum and offered to have these tested when they were in development. I don't know what came of that, but I guess it worked since they have them out now.

I just added with Windvest 16 inch...perfect for me. Moved from the 14 inch to 16 inch and today was the first run. The only down side with the 16 inch is that you can't get the darkest tint.

I'm 6' with a 30 inch inseam. Also, my seat (Russel Day Long) sits higher than most. The shield is probably 1.5 inches higher in total height due to the slope of the shield.

If you had a specific question, I'd be glad to answer it.

post a pic with a side view and one with a measurement from the speedo housing PLEASE!

I have considered a taller windvest for the winter months.
The height from the speedo housing is 13.25 inches. Hard to see on the picture, but I included a shot to show you where I measured from. We did about 200 miles today and I found that it worked great for me. I'm done buying windshields and seats for a while.

Martinsburg,
Glad it helped. I don't feel like the windscreen added that much height (maybe an inch), but it did enough to get the wind up to the top of my helmet.

I used to work in Mississippi...if you go anywhere near the Delta...I recommend a 30 inch Windvest. Those mosquitos you have down there make our California Condors look small!!

I have the 16", it works just as well as the ClearView Large but looks a lot better. Couple if issues on fitment I dislike about the WV. I was really hoping that it would work in conjunction with the SERG gasket which I have but it does not. They really should have cut this shield to work with the gasket. The other issue is the width, it does not look this way on the above picture but mine does not go all the way to the edge of the fairing where the fairing turns. So if they add some width to it and cut the bottom of the shield to match the SERG gasket it would be great.

I am 6'5" with a lowered Corbin seat and I could still use about another inch on the shield because the wind does hit the top of my helmet and I get some buffeting. So I just wished they made a 17" a little wider or with little wings that go all the way to the end of the fairing and work with the SERG gasget.

Just my thoughts, still a great shield at a good price.
