Extending wires for taller bars installation
slide the 2 connecting pins(male/female) together and shrink tube keeps the connection tight and secure? or add an extra crimp?

Shrink wrap will do it, but I personally would add a touch of solder to the connection.

pin and socket inside the bars sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. Cut off the pin/socket and do a soldered Western Union splice to be safer. For extensions I usually do 3 layers of electrical tape on each wire (staggering the connections by at lease 1/2 inch), and then shrink tube the section.

Note: if done properly each finished connection should be only 1/4" long.

That method hasn't let me down in almost 40 years.

I just did this with 4" extensions and wondered the same thing, Just connect the 2 together and shrink tube works great. Won't pull apart. Remember they are under the fairing and should have any stress on them anyway.

Good Luck
