I just got my wires pulled through my 10 inch Yaffe’s and set them on the bike…man they look and feel great. It has been one of several mods I am trying to get finished and I hope it is all back together and ready for a frigid test ride by the weekend. The wires really pulled through pretty easy. It took about 30 minutes to get them pulled and ready to set back on the bike. I always liked the Yaffe bars but this was the first set I seen in person on a RG…man I was impressed…cant wait to see them with the inner and outer fairing back on. Good luck on your install.

Good experience

I know a lot of people have posted that they've had problems with Yaffe and shipping or when calling to ask questions but I have to put out a good experience that I had with him. Met him at the rally in Galveston this year and I thought he was very approachable and was willing to shoot the bull with anyone. I know that was the whole idea of a rally, for him to get his goods out there and sell sell sell. But overall he didn't act like he was too good for anyone and seemed like a regular Joe. Paid for some orig 10 in bars and a shirt (thought he would throw that in with the $$$ of the bars) and he said that they would have to ship once they got back from the rally which worked out well because I didn't want to have to strap the bars to the bike on the way home but was ready to. I called a few days after the rally and he was manning the phones and took my info down to call me back. He hadn't shipped the bars yet but by the time he called me back he gave me a tracking number and they went out that day. When the bars arrived I found another shirt in the box which he might do for everyone but I thought it was pretty cool. Our riding season here is really about 12 months so I'll have to break down sometime in the next few weeks and pull some wires through and get them installed. Not sure if I'm looking forward to the task but I sure am looking forward to the end results.

Good luck with your install and I hope that everyone else has as good of an exp buying from him as I did.

Just picked up the bars

I stopped in and talked with Phil and the guys at the shop, Paul said 6-8 weeks out and they only missed it by a week. When Paul and I last spoke mine were at chrome, a week later Phil said they were at his desk. I also got the wire and brake extension kit. They said just take your time. Only thing I'm concerned about is I hate to melting wire! but the brake and air issue Harley has with ABS:confused: Other than that bars look great and I'm going to do some other stuff while I got her apart. I'm going to wait because I promised the wife a Birthday ride on the 11th and a trip to Jared Jewelry. I'll post picks when I can

I just joined the Monkey Club too! I went with the black 10"ers. I'm sure this question has been answered before, but I am new to the Shark Tank and need to ask it again. I ride a 2003 carbed Road King (for the moment) with a single 6 piston Hawg Halter brake caliper up front. Will the OEM throttle cables, clutch cable and single brake line be long enough for this install? If not, what added length will be required for each component to work properly/safely? Any insight will be very helpful. Semper Fi!!

Yeah, I hope its worth it. Took awhile to be able to justify the amount these things cost for just a set of bars. Cant wait to get them on and then move on to something else. Neano actually sent me the directions to help out also, so thanks again Neano, if you read this
