LETS SEE ONE OF YOUR FAV COOL JOINT:
In PA just east of Pittsburgh - SHORTY'S. Wow. The menu is on a blackboard. Linoleum floors. wood booths. Counter service too. Old signs from original opening. The chili dogs are better in Cincinnati but not bad here! DOOF

Ojos Locos (Crazy Eyes) in Jemez Springs. The Gilman Tunnels are on the way. Always a cool place to ride to and see. Great food and hospitable mountain folk.

Cook's Corner - Trabuco Canyon, CA

It's a 17 mile ride from my doorstep. Perfect for a shakedown cruise after wrenching!

Ahhhh, Cooks, all you can eat spaghetti Wednesdays. Been going there since I was 16 (52 now) I remember when there were times you didn't pull in there on your Japanese bike cause the 1%'ere were so thick. But back then I always had no problem with my Kawi H2 750 (2 stroke triple) there cause even the most die hard Harley bikers still thought it was cool. Probably cause it was so loud and had a bad ass reputation.

Also don't forget Hells Kitchen on Ortega Hwy....great place to ride too.....

The Rock Inn at Lake Hughes. Always good food, good live music, good service, and great atmosphere, not overly crowded, plus awesome country mountain roads leading up to and surrounding it.

Other local places as well, but this is our favorite due to the great ride up there and never-disappointing food.

Funny thing about Poopy's, many of the food choices have the word poop in it. I've been to the Hideaway in Cave Creek many times. Too bad Greasewood Flats is gone nowadays though.

We may have different ideas of "cool joint", but local destinations around here are the Square in Lynchburg, TN (home of Jack Daniels),

Bell Buckle Cafe ( home of the Moon Pie Festival) in Bell Buckle, TN

Puckett‘s Grocery in Leipers Fork, TN, where you might see a classic Rolls Royce, or Mike Wolf from American Pickers.
