I have an 09 RG with an R and R 103. badass and x country twice with zero problems. blows my friends 2010 SG SE away. he hates me. As you know the MOCO cranks are not true and I had to have the lower end done to swap to gear driven cams, which are Andrews 615. to much stuff on the complete bike to list
My question is this. I'm looking into getting another bike to rip around the local mountains in northern New England. I was thinking aboiut throiwing the 120r in but hear there are warranty issues with Jims, chain driven cams. Which leads me to think that the cranks are not trued and balanced. $1700 to have that repaired.
What do you guys think? Pros and Cons of the Jims 120r v an R and R 117?
