I wouldnt worry about the paint for now. Nobody will notice it, cuz you will just be a fast blur going by!

 

Go for the 120. Fyi you may also need to replace your clutch with this engine.

Go for the 120! WIth that much power on tap those brown stripes won't look as bad to you for that short amout of time!

The correct answer is immediately purchase the 120R. There was one sitting at the dealer yesterday. $8,900 installed.

Buy it and if you change your mind you can always sell it and probably make a profit! I would do it in a second!

I bought a 120r engine and in the bottom of the box it came was the dealer invoice were it showed there cost was $3800.00 Just sayin..

 

I just had my engine modified, if I found a 120R for $3700 I would buy it just for principle alone .

 

Ok. It's mine. I have to do clutch research now. Wondering if I am going to be able to wait for the paint tear down to install it...

Aw man...that hit to the "fun savings" account was devastating...but should rank right up there with "maximum fun"...

I just ordered one for a customer here. with a 66mm t/b and new se clutch discs, & comp release harness, & labor 9100.

 

LarryB who is making a 66 mm throttlebody?

 

I wish I can find 1 at that price, glad you made the right choice and bought it.

 

Don't forget al of the supporting parts that are needed.
Like someone else mentioned the clutch, throttle body and bigger injectors, and probably a change to the exhaust system to reap all the benefits of that big engine.
The biggest change needed will be a tuner.

 

Going 66mm and probably with the SE clutch pack. Doing the Yaffe Bagpipe. Going to stay with SEPST tuner...yeah I know...gotta buy another one...but I am used to it now...and there are some cool maps for the 120.

Should sound good through the Bagpipe uh?
