All,
Be aware of the worse customer service I've ever experienced.
I contacted Bad Boyz in January and inquired about having a custom Freedom extended reach made for my RGS. (Elias) of course promised that he would do everything to make sure that I would be more than pleased with my purchase. I sent him the manufacturer's name, the color code, and photos of the material I wanted. He sent me photos of two selections he could purchase locally. I made my selection and paid. Around week four I sent a text asking for an update. Elias sent photos of what he was preparing to wrap the seat with. I called and questioned the material color. Because the photos that were sent showed a different color. When I finally received the seat, it was not only not the color I had asked for it was different from the photos. A call to Elias went south quick when he told me it was the color I had selected and that it wasn't his fault. He tried to blame the individual he had purchased the material from, but it was his responsibility to insure the material was correct. I finally put the seat on the bike to see if it is comfortable as advertised. First ride out the backrest came off in my hand. Called Elias again, and demanded that the issues be corrected. After a heated discussion he finally said he would correct the issues and send me a return shipping label. A week later I finally got the return label. And after shipping it back, three weeks later I received an email saying I was receiving a refund minus $205.00 for what I have no idea.
Riders if you can't put your hands on it at the time of purchase your taking a chance of dealing with shady individuals like this.

Their customer service seems to be a bit hit or miss. I had some issues with them when ordered my seat and was promised a delivery timeline which they missed. After several emails that were ever answered I made multiple phone calls which were returned after about a week. Multiple excuses from George why the delivery timelines weren’t met. Ultimately I did receive the seat and for me MIGHT be the most comfortable seat I’ve had. Some folks have had good customer service experiences from them but my experience was not stellar. So, bottom line…. You mileage may vary

First off I like to say I’m sorry you experienced that and I understand you want what your paying for. I just got a seat from them and honestly I did not experience any of that and this is just me i was very happy with our conversation and what I was looking for I don’t know any of them other than me buying a seat and I got what I wanted and Professional. I was also assured by them that if there was any modifications that I wanted to make to see to contact them and they will do so I get it. You’re spending a ton of money with this company or any company and I felt more reassuring while speaking to them then to Saddleman or LePerra. I mean those 2 companies basically told me yeah that’s what we have the description is on our site. That’s why they didn’t get my money.

Sorry to hear of this amigo - I have used them a few times in the past, back when they were "CVOridersbackrest.com" and then the short stint when they were "Grasshopper".......the 1st was the riders backrest for my '15 CVO SG" seat that I ran on my '15 RG - The 2nd was for my '19 Heritage and its Riders Backrest.....and the 3rd I am waiting on now for my '24 - Ordered it on 5/31.....called Elias today, he was cool and told me the fabric came in on 6/2 and there are about 80 orders but he is aiming to get mine done and out mid week next week which aligns with the 3 week timeframe as stated on the site - He was way cool and was polite......fingers crossed

Guess I got very lucky. A practically new BBC Freedom long reach seat and pillion, with stitching to match my FLTRU, came up on FB Marketplace a few months ago. Picking it up made for a nice day ride there and back. I typically run an HD Tall Boy which can have me doing the numb butt shuffle after a few hours (I discovered I can scoot back to the passenger section for a few minutes for relief!). The BBC seat puts me back a little farther than the TB and a tad lower which is fine. Best part? No waiting for BBC to make and ship and no sales tax! $350 for both! Since I ride solo most of the time I just put the rider's seat on.

My matching CVO Riders Backrest arrives tomorrow....it took every bit of (3) weeks to ship as stated on their site and I can only guess their inflated shipping cost help cover tariff BS...but they are also the only Co I know of that matches the CVO Seat Material and Pattern with their product - Called them (3) times over the course of that (3) weeks...Elias was polite and kept me updated and George always answered as well and was always kind too...we even texted back a forth a few times - Now if the shit arrives tomorrow and is not what I ordered, the tone of this post will change....fingers crossed

Well, I had the exact opposite of a bad experience with BBC...in fact, both George and Elias were great to work with - Answered when I called or texted that they would call me back and always did - Hell, George even Facetimed with me when my dumb ass did not realize that my Riders Backrest came with a different bracket for the passenger seat to make it all work - Found it packed away in the backrest pocket....we both laughed at my stupidity and he then showed me his RG ST and all the cool shit he has on it - Shit, we kabitzed for 30 mis on stuff and it was like talking to an old friend - I feel bad for the OP who had a shitty experience and guess there really is not answer for it except sometimes shit fucks up I guess, sorry again Brother, hate to hear about what you went through

If the rump can't take the CVO set up after SW, I'll prob get a Freedom Seat from them - Had Saddlemen, had Mustang, had Corbin and on my 4th riders backrest from George and Elias so I'll give them a shot if the arse gives me the middle finger when I get back from NC

No there not but my opinion bad boys cycle seat is 10x better when I first got it I was like this is way to hard I have 600 miles on this seat and it’s amazing. You actually speak to the owners of the company they give you there cell number and can call them anytime.

Got my BB Python last weekend and put a couple hundred miles on it. LOVE it so far! I'll be knocking out about 3500 miles the end of this month in a 7 day ride, so that'll be the true test of how it is.

Dang.. and I was looking at them to get my CVO backrest for my 2025 RG. I emailed them if they were planning on making 25 model seat but they never replied. They are the only ones that I know that make a backrest with a bracket for CVO that come with two piece seat. Frankly, I can't believe HD doesn't provide that. What a freaking shame.

Call them - They are in Cali so PST Time zone - Both George (owner) and his son Elias are cool guys - George is a talker so if he answers, budget at least (15) mins but he rides an RG ST ALLLLLLLL done up - He is also the same guy who started "CVOridersbackrest" and "Grasshopper" who were both his companies where he had partners who made the designs and he had the mfg contacts for production

I would bet they make the '25 Model Riders Backrest, or will plan to very shortly - Mine took (3) weeks due to them waiting on the fabric from the same supplier HD uses - The match is spot on and the design is pretty slick too - Could not be happier with mine
