The LP6 kit is also not road legal and has been mentioned by us in this forum already. I have not heard of any issues with law enforcement thus far but I would not be surprised if things change soon with the popularity our lights are gaining in this space.

I’m sure you can’t say too much but if I had planned on buying lights say in the next two months…would I be an idiot and I should just wait?

As far as which lights look better: In my eye it's a 50/50 thing. Neither setup has me doing backflips and cartwheels compared to the look of the stock headlight. I might like one of them on our bike, but the investment is too great for my level of uncertainty. What I need is a full size printout of the BD lights to place over my oem light....then stand back and consider. 😄

The lights shown in the first post don't look good to me primarily due to their basic rectangular shape. Not a good match with the fairing. Now put them on a square body Ford or Chevy pickup and they're right at home.

Hey @RGentim,

We are pretty far away from releasing the DOT version so buying a kit now will still give you plenty of time to enjoy this light until anything new is released.

I love mine. Cali Raised installed mine this weekend. They are set dimmed and get full brightness when I turn on my brights. Hopefully the cops don't catch on anytime soon :/
That is a metric tonne of lights up front. Does it also do X-rays? lol

This setup is great, definitely not road legal but you do lack the spread of lighting with this setup. The biggest benefit that the LP6s have are the IPT lights giving it about 200 degrees of light. Most people will go with this setup to help with shining the left and right lanes up well. None the less this setup will provide a ton of light so you probably won't find yourself wishing you had more.

When are you coming out with an install video or instructions for a Road Glide, I have purchased the ONX6+ but don't know how to install/wire.
