I've thought about this too. How's the quality on this one?
I can't vouch for this exact product but I do own a soft side AO cooler and love it. I honestly use it more than the smaller of my yetis. I broke down a few years ago and bought them bc I was tired of my igloo one always breaking.

Anyway I bought the AO because at the time I had a mustang and the hard sided yetis wouldn't fit in my trunk.

It won't hold ice for days but will keep stuff cold overnight but next day you'll need ice. I think I paid 90 bucks and would buy another if this one shit the bed

Edit: out of curiosity I looked up my order. Paid 50 bucks in March of 17. The carry strap broke recently but that was my fault. It's faded but still in really good shape and I don't treat it kind

Exactly!!!! Once I figured out a Yeti cooler doesn’t actually make you cool……I was out!!!!! 😂

Seriously though the Yeti one is way to big anyway.
All good man...saw a shot and took it and am the same damn way......did this dance 3 years ago when it was time to upgrade our Lake Cooler and side by sided the shit out of all of them.....saw no need for the Yeti once I looked at how all are made and rated

Right now I'm leaning hard toward a RTIC Everyday Cooler. It's looking like the only one from a reputable company in a size I think I can deal with. This something I'd like to be able to pack when I do 1Ks and long 800+ mile days. And even in the summer I load the bike up to cover a lot of situations so space is at premium.

This one is 8.5x10x7.

Food for thought, I bought a cheap as hell lunch box/cooler on Amazon. It was 13 bucks. In fact you can't even buy it anymore but I'm sure another chinesium one is out there. I bought it for nascar races and it works surprisingly well. I think it's 24 can. Can hold quite a bit. If just needing something to hold a 6 pack or so plus some food might be worth looking at similar

My little robot mower even ran it over but it's still going like a champ. Easily can be shoved in a saddlebag so it would definitely fit in a tour pack

I have one like that now and it's just not cutting it. Bu the time I make my last stop stuff is getting warm. I need it to keep stuff cool for 18-20 hours.

This RTIC one is probably more effective. Might have to mock something up with the same detentions and see what I have to work with.

12 Can

That would looks nice. I have several RTIC cups and a metal beer koozie and all of it works just as well as the Yeti shit…..

Well this is what I went with. Takes up some space, but I believe it will work the best.

Fits either way. I’ll just have pack smart. The red one was on sale. 😂

Love the red. A splash of color on the black bike. And love that it was on sale even more. Now you have extra money for more bike parts!

I saw those colors were on sale. Why not the "coral" or "salmon" as some have called it? LOL Just yankin your chain. Couldn't help but chuckle when I saw the colors were cheaper than the black one. Then I saw the "coral" and it became clear why they were marking them down. Hidden in the pack it doesn't matter but out in the sun the lighter colors will probably keep it cool slightly longer than a black one would.

I freeze water bottles solid and size the cooler based on what I am carrying so there isn't wasted air space. Two frozen bottles for each bottle I want to keep cool.
At the end of the day the frozen bottles are maybe 1/2 frozen. Sometimes I drink them also.

I was gonna get a black one, and then my OL was like they do the same thing….get the cheaper one. Couldn’t argue with the logic. 😂

I use a small insulated red one similar to the gray one in your photo. Fits four water bottles (one frozen) and a couple granola bars from the fridge and I'm set for the day.

I use a cheaper version of that rtic one...we will freeze two water bottles the night before to but in with the others along with ice from the freezer bucket.
