I know this is a beat to death thread but I can't remember the name of the rubber seal people are using instead of factory Harley gasket when they put the fairing back together. I am done with the gooey mess here in Florida when your bike sits in the sun and the seal between the inner and outer fairing starts to melt. Any info would be a great help.

Just go to Auto Zone or auto parts store they sell the same stuff XTRIM does for a 1/3 or less of the price. I order the XTRIM thinking it might be something different.

This is the trim I have been using for years on every fairing I work on, the shoulder fits perfect over the edge and the profile size is scaled just right,

This stuff in black works great also. 18' for $10. Has adhesive, conforms very well and no effect on fairing fit.
