I did a brief write-up on MY Freedom Performance pipes a while back:

I've got about 7k miles on mine, and I'm still loving them. Most who I ride with like the sound, but if it's LOUDNESS you're after, the CFR's might be the way to go. The 3" Rineharts on a friend's Road King are pretty rowdy sounding. I prefer a lower note myself, and the FP's have a nice rumble, with an authoritative "bark" when the throttle is whacked. And engine braking REALLY dumps thunder with the FP's. Sounds like a semi from behind (so I'm told).
I had their "American Outlaw" true dual setup on my Softail Deluxe a couple of bikes ago. I'm a repeat customer. Build quality is top shelf, and from what I understand- the company was started by some ex-V&H hands.
Exhaust is about as subjective as tires. Go for what you want. And don't listen to sound clips of ANYTHING on the internet. Unless a professional-quality microphone was used, and the entire signal path is lossless compression, you're not going to be hearing what the exhaust sounds like. A phone, laptop, or basic desktop audio system won't be able to reproduce the correct frequency response or volume.
