Heel Toe Shifter is Gone

I have a pre Rushmore bike and I recently noticed that Harley Davidson no longer puts the heel shifter on the newer models. I know it can be easily added but I always upshift with my heel. I find it's smoother, easier, and the toes of my boots don't get scuffed up. Besides me, who else uses the rear shift lever?

IAs far as shifter/shaft problems go I never had problem, but I also don’t stomp on the heel shifter like some people do.

I only had a problem once on my 05 Road Glide. The spline was almost completely worn out. FIrst, I put heim joints on my shift rod. Also, I always check and tighten everything involving my shift levers when I do my routine service every 5K miles. I haven't had a problem since.
