KW has a few different headers, not sure which ones would be better for a mild cam on a 107. I’ll have to dig into this a little deeper.

Anyone have any experience with KhromeWerks slipon mufflers. Quality, fitment and customer service. Looking maybe getting their mufflers for my 04 wideglide.
Thanks

Had a set of true duals from them 9 years later a mounting tab broke off they replaced e them completely . That’s great service !!!!!!

You guys think the KW mufflers would go good with the FM Jackpot head pipe?

I'm running the KW 4.5 cans, Fullsac MX headpipe, Perforate Perf baffles, WM8-22X cam. I have also run the Louvered baffles as well. Didn't notice much diff between the two as far as perf or sound to be honest. I have also run them without baffles. The sound will be deeper without the baffles but there is a dip in the TQ curve around the 2500 RPM range. While there is a dip in the TQ curve it really wasn't that big of a deal to me either. My guess is it's more noticeable if your riding 2 up. They are great quality with a nice sound. Not too loud not to quiet.

That's one thing I'm not sure of - these two baffles seem to have the same description. Only difference is the amount of holes/perforations in the baffles. The one with less holes/perforations would be louder, and maybe a very slight dip in performance? Between the Louvered and the Perforate?

I posted some of their dyno numbers earlier in this thread and have tried each of these.

The quick rundown is:
Ripper = Loudest, least performance gain (although still adds backpressure over unbaffled)

Louvered = Middle noise level, middle performance gain

Perfotate Performance = Quietest, greatest performance gain

My motor and head pipes are stock so take that into consideration.

Louvered = Middle noise level, middle performance gain

Perfotate Performance = Quietest, greatest performance gain
I have these two. KW Dyno sheets below. I can’t tell the difference in dyno sheets, or seat of the pants. The dyno sheets for the two different part numbers look virtually identical to my eye. Agreed that louvered are ever so slightly louder than Perforate performance.

I don't think the typical rider could ascertain (by feel) a performance difference in those 2 inserts honestly. Sound levels are different though not better or worse overall. I'd advise anyone to make their best call and ride happy.

I couldn't tell between the two. Just preferred the sound of the louvered baffle a little more.

If you run a full face or modular helmet (I do now in winter) there will be less droning in my experience with the perforate performance baffle.

Well, I managed to find a FM stainless steel head pipe, now I just need to get the mufflers. Pretty sure they’re not cheap.

Btw, where did you guys buy them from? Did you get to choose the baffle that came with the mufflers?

Bought mine from Dennis Kirk. Baffles sold separately.

Probably because they have four choices, or five when you consider some folks like running without them.

I had just talked to bob at FM last week and mentioned my plans for mods for my new 2022 Road Glide CVO. FM Jackpot 2/1/2 with KW 4.5 HP-Plus, Woods 22X-E cam and FM Power Vision map. He said to run the Louvered baffles. Looking at the dyno charts KW has for each of the baffles (Louvered and Perforate) I don't think it will make much difference.

I have their full Dominator 2:2 3-Stepped Header with 4.5" Mufflers. They come with the perforate baffle already. I love them.
