So every now and then you run across that guy, the guy who does everything a little bit better than everybody else, I ran across this guy who makes gloves, he's located in our great state of Texas. I am one of those guys who likes nice tight fitting gloves, I don't like the ones with the plastic over your knuckles, I don't like the fingerless gloves they don't work either for me, so most of the time I use skin tight deer skin gloves, the first time I saw these gloves rooster was wearing them, and I said to myself I have to have those gloves, I did a little bit of digging, they have a small Studio out in the middle of bum fuck Texas. So I decided I would order me a pair of blood red shanks gloves, when they arrived I was definitely not disappointed, I only had to put them on a couple of times and they were already starting to feel pretty good, stitching on these things it's a crazy, these remind me of the old cowboy gloves back in the day, anyway I want to say these are the best gloves I've ever had, and God knows I've tried a bunch, I just like the old school hand stitched look.... these are those gloves!!!

I ordered 110.00 gloves and balm last September 1st .. order #9604 . Received same confirmation but never received it.UPDATE: My post on here worked, I received shipping confirmation about 3 hours later. I really hope these gloves are everything that I've heard and read.
Emailed Motostuka 5 times trying to inquire but they ignored me.. almost end of January and I still haven't heard anything .
I think this company must be a rip off.
At this point file a dispute with the BBB, your credit card, and whoever else you can for fraud. Gotta be a law against taking your money and promising a product and never delivering. I like my gloves but now I don't even want to rep them around. Seriously, fuck these assholes.

Looks to me like this guys "hand-made" gloves are simply Chinese made gloves he has shipped to his house then resells as custom made gloves.
I'm not saying they aint decent gloves, I'm just saying you have other options for the same glove if you don't want to play this guys game.
Not knocking him, he found a side hustle that seems to be paying pretty well. Now if he could just get ChYna to cooperate and get the stuff sent to him as quickly as he sells them.....

Lowbrow also sells his Shanks and usually has them in stock. I have three pairs and they are excellent and well made gloves regardless. It is my understanding from @Toothpick that he investigated and found that dude buys the gloves already made, from where I don’t think anyone knows for sure, China or otherwise, so there’s some assumption being made in that regard. It’s also been discovered that dude gets them, brands them (literally), dyes them, and waterproofs them. Not defending him by any means, but he does add some value to the product.
But 100% he’s a horrible businessman who obviously based on his actions doesn’t seem to give AF about his customers. If he did he’d respond to emails and bring in some help to get caught up on orders. I’ve been to his storefront in Llano Tx and have talked to him and he seemed like a nice enough guy. He also sets up a booth at the local rally’s here in Texas and I’ve shot the shit with him there as well. This morning I did some pretty extensive searching and cannot find any mention of MotoStuka in the Better Business Bureau website, good or bad, so not sure if he operates under a different company. Dudes name is Rob Howe and he’s a Cali transplant to Texas. His phone is 858 880-5073….. I don’t know what his fucking deal is but it’s inexcusable. It this shits still going on come spring ill bring my heavies @2k10fblo and @Vec and ride out to Llano and see whats going on.

I ordered the Bronze Shanks on April 25, 2024, and they arrived on June 18, 2024. That’s 38 business days. I guess he has had an issue producing them since then. It would be nice if he just informed His Customers of whatever problems have caused the slowdown.

From what I understand, he outsources them made to his specifications here in the United States....
At the 9:00 minute mark he talks about how he makes them. He does say he gets the gloves from "some guys here in the US". So they send him the gloves, and he sews some string on the cuff, waxes them to make them waterproof, and stamps his name on them. At this point....if someone told me he got them from China and he was lying I'd believe them. I know I won't be ordering a second pair or recommending them to anyone

Well this tells me a lot......from the cheap seats here, I'd say he was into his "Glove Guy" for a chunk of change hence halting future shipments to him....... and was still takin orders to make it up and pay it off
