Wiley X makes a nice pair of riding glasses without breaking the bank. Just bought a pair of clear for night riding for 90.00. My sun glasses are 3x the price because of the prescription and didn't want to pop for prescribed clear as well.

My advice is go get an eye exam. If you need glasses then get the transitions. Best thing I ever did. Put it off for years and got tired of the cheater glasses at the tip of my nose and having to look above them when not reading. I also got the progressive for up close viewing. If your vision is good then I would just go to Academy or Dicks and get a pair of polarized sunglasses for the day and some wrap around safety glasses for night. Your looking at $50 that route.

I have a pair of the H-D transitions ones (several style options available) they are made by Wiley-X.

I have several other pairs of Wiley-X thanks to Uncle Sam because we got a new pair every time we deployed and they usually hold up pretty well. Transitions lenses or interchangeable lenses.

Wiley X has been my favorite. I really like the photochromic lenses - not just because of not having to change at dark - but mainly for all of the times in between when I don’t need really dark lenses. Just seems like I see better more of the time. I do think it’s important for your eyes to wear decent UV blocking in any kind of glasses.

2 pairs here. Oakley polarized during the day. KD's clear at night, sometimes with orange or yellow tint-$11.95. Sometimes safety glasses at night, I always keep a new pair unopened safety glasses in the saddlebag just in case.

I just use the cheapo $10 ones found at any dealer or gas station. They fit and work great. If they break, its just $10. Though haven't had to replace them after 9 years. Keep em in a case when not in use to keep from getting scratched up.

Another vote for 7Eye glasses. I have two pair and they are great!

After struggling for many years with glasses for riding I was in a Walmart Superstore in Mandan, ND. that had safety-sport glasses with replaceable air dams. I purchased the frames and had Nikon transition RX progressive lenses installed. I also purchased a few replacement air dams.

Simply awesome. The transition lenses work great from day to night and the air dams are excellent at highway speeds.

if you don't wear perscription glasses don't wast your money on "riding glasses" just go down to the local home depot and get you some safety glasses. you asked about rocks well safety glasses are designed to protect against impact, regular glasses are not. get a set of clear and a set of tinted for day, also get a good hard case to keep the ones your not riding in, bouncing around in the tourpac can ruin glasses fast.

When I need clear glasses for riding I swear by these.

I know, WTF, these 3M clear lens saftey glasses work perfect for me.

The frames are thick and look cool and the lens are fog proof

I have had several pairs of the high dollar clear glasses and these work perfect for me.

As far as regular polarized sunglasses, I still like my Oakley Batwolf's the best along with my Black Fly Wraps and my Ray Ban Baloramas

I welded for 16yrs, underwater, topside. Mostly big welding the last 5 years. Welders eyes are usually not good after a while. When I welded topside I never went cheap with a lens, I have 2 American Optic lenses, both Ice Blue. I don't wear prescription glasses at all and I believe that using those lenses is the reason why.
So I don't go cheap on glasses, Oakleys day and night. I have a pair of Wiley X also. I like them but the end of the ear piece rolls outward a little and they tend to move on me, drives me nuts.
