Has anyone tried this part from Kraus Moto? Is it worth it? It is mighty pricey at $92 EZ-Shift (Twin Cam) .
It was only a matter of time before someone stole their idea. Part of the focus on the incoming administration is intellectual copyright laws and enforcing them. I'm all for saving a few bucks here and there but my stance is that Kraus, KlockWerks, Thrashin, and all the other big players spent a boat load of time and money researching and developing their products. They took a huge risk when they brought them to the market. Their stuff may be more expensive and made the same way as the knock offs. When I can though, I'm going to support them. Not saying I don't have the knock off's on my bike or other things in and around my life, but I am saying that I want to support the inventors and not the copycats.chrome

I didn't see a chineium one for Twin cam, only seen M8 ones.Link? Didn’t know there was one in chineseium else I would have gone that route because with tax and shipping my Kraus was $120…… 😡
Just remember that it’s made with Chinesium Materials and We All know what happens with that. I’d sure hate to be stranded in the middle of nowhere because that cheap part broke and I can no longer shift.Wow, $21….. And it looks like the Kraus except it’s black and not polished….. Damn.
Yup….. I might have mentioned this before, but IMO I think the biggest improvement comes from making sure the shift linkage is as level end to end as possible….. But I adjusted mine at the same time I installed the EZ shift deal, so can’t say 100% for sure….. I had to screw each end “in” quite a lot, which then required having to move the shifter on the splines….. But as I said before, I’ll pay the $100 price of admission regardless because it got me address it and it’s a night and day difference in finding neutral and with overall shift quality in general. One of the dudes on the other forum simply drilled that shift arm/lever a little lower to reattach the link too instead of messing with the transmission end.
Claims it works just as well.
Food for thought
Yup agreed completely. Money well spent.Yup…..
