After riding the Road Glides, it's like getting on a mini bike. Less cumbersome, now I see why my son likes them. I really enjoy riding it, may get one for myself.

 

Nice job. Looks great. I agree about less cumbersome, picked up a 2012 King Classic 4-years ago for the hot commuting months and it is so nice having all the extra air flow without the fairing. I think a lot is mental, but it sure feels much easier to maneuver around.

Good job on the rebuild - always nice to have a cruiser without a fairing (the saddlebags are also a big bonus).

 

RK have always been one of my favorite bikes. Looks like this one will be a beast when you get done with the engine mods as well. I'm sure your son will enjoy it.
