So after RogersRGU, showed pics of his saddle bag covers, I decided I would give them a try, one of my better decisions, was using this company, I have to tell you I was blown away by the quality, the stitching, these are not some mass-produced saddlebag covers that you might find on Amazon or Ebay, each one of these saddlebag covers, is made to order, they don't start your covers until after you call them spoke with them to see what you wanted, I opted for the whole saddlebag cover to be covered in the alligator, these things look amazing, one other thing these things have fleece lining, padding, that makes these things stand out from the rest, if you need saddle bag covers look no further these guys are Beyond Top Notch I cannot tell you how sweet these things actually look. But the soft padding, prevents boot marks scuff marks, it is very soft to the touch. And these things look beautiful beyond tailored made. Hey fellow members, if you are looking or decide to buy saddlebag covers, this is the only place to go to, here are a few pictures still you actually decide

My Harley saddlebag covers, they're not even in the same league, as these saddlebag covers are, Harley does not even go half the distance that ShoreFire does!!!!

Look this company up,

The seat, I had a custom-made, I purchased the material elsewhere, and then took it to the local custom upholster, where I also added 3/4" gel foam .......
ShoreFire is only saddlebag covers that's all they do to my knowledge, but Nobody Does it Better.
This is my local upholster that does beautiful custom work, I had the seat shaved, carved, and lowered.......

I just got lucky on the color match.......

They have a gray very soft fleece lining, the fleece feels thick like that, wich you would expect from good quality material. One of the thing about the saddlebags, they actually steam press the saddlebags before they deliver them, which helps with the stretching of the covers, that gives it tight tight look that it has.

@TexasSmoker Thanks for starting "The Thread" Christopher.
I ordered the "Blaster" for My Glide because "The Speaker Lids" have some scratches in them and I figured it would be less expensive than buying "New Lids".

You're welcome @mike,
now you've got one more thing to stash or add in your Rolodex.....

They don't show up in 3 days, it takes about a minute but each and everyone is handmade hand tailored, to very tight tolerances. I like the fact that mine were made for me and not some other schmuck, did you talk to anybody or did you just order them, I actually talk to somebody because I wanted my whole saddlebag leg the same material. The picture does not do the lid Justice, they fit that nice Mike. I wished I would have known about Shore Fire 10 years ago, the Harley saddlebag covers that I have, are like made in China or something I don't know, they're underlining is nothing compared to Shore Fire, Harley's Velcro isn't as strong pertaining to sticking to the lid. And I guess after 10 years they couldn't stretch out any farther, so the Harley ones look like shit I'm hoping, that the quality of this they will not stretch out like the Harley saddlebag covers did I throw rocks at the Harley saddlebag covers at this point!!

A piece of advice that will help you when you're putting your cover on, they give you plenty of Velcro, and the trick to making these look really nice, is I stretched each side of the cover front and back, 5 or 6 times each side, till the seem was not visable!!!
Direwolf, yours are a good example, you need to stretch them back and forth a couple of more times, those seams will disappear under the lid it just takes a little bit of patience, and I'm also not trying to tell you about your shit either just look at the other pictures and you will see what I'm trying to get across,😁😁😁

Hey Troy, call them and talk to somebody in person before you order them, when you go to order your saddlebag covers, ask if they will do the sides in Black alligator as well, that way your whole saddlebag cover will be in Black alligator, with no leather on the sides, this is the route I chose, and it makes them look totally legit, good luck when you purchase, they make it they make them to order....... so you will have to be patient, they told me 3 weeks I got them in 2.....

That was my plan to see if I could get the sides done in gator too. At this point they could take a month to get here if they need to….. way too much snow to even think about getting the bike out.

So I thought I would show y'all a couple of pics, of the underneath side of the Saddleback covers, to get the real gist of it you have to magnify, the stitching is quality and amazing, this is top shelf fleece, it's exceptionally thick it feels very soft, but if you look they're mounting tabs, are on the saddlebag covers when you receive them, so you know exactly where to place your Velcro but Surefire says with their design, it makes the lid windproof in waterproof, hence all of the material that you see, and even that part is very well designed and thought out, you will see what I'm talking about and you will appreciate them......

Been using them for about 3 yrs now. Took them off my trade in and put them on my ST. Padded very well and don't scratch the lids. They had Gray stitching, so it worked out great. When I switched them over, I bought industrial velcro at Home Depot and it worked out great. Clean the inside of the lids with alcohol and let the velcro set-up for a few hours.
