Diamond amp, don't know what one.
PRV speakers in the lowers. They have a horizontal piece that goes across the front of them, just the grill. Don't know what speaker model they are. Maybe the new carbon fiber ones?

That looks like them Mike. I haven't heard a 6.5 hit like those do. Got me thinking now

Same here Brother great pricing also.
Maybe I'll try a pair in My Lowers to replace the PRV6MR500's I'm running there now.

Just was reading, 4ohm only. Pretty sure the Stinger amp is 2ohm stable, I wouldn't want to reconfigure the front stage

Yeah, I understand that.
Seem like a great pair of inexpensive speakers. They're water-resistant also.
If I decide to try a set I'll let You know what I think.

Roger that!

Stinger SPX700X4 and a set of MMats PA601CX
I'm going to put this on the bike out in the barn and crank it up and see how far I can walk away and hear it. If it blows the speakers, then I will just have to follow SE into the world of quality sound systems. LOL!

This song would have me scraping floorboards for sure!

What's the problem running 2 , two ohm speakers , and 2 , 4 ohm speakers on a 2ohm stable, 4 channel amp ?

I couldn't get past 3/4 volume because the distortion kicked in pretty bad. Of course this is not a CD quality music source either. Even at 3/4 it was too loud for me to sit on the bike, and I was able to hear it at an enjoyable level at 100 feet away in front of the bike, not behind it. Sound bouncing off back wall. This tells me how loud wind noise is, and why I wear foam ear plugs when I ride. If I made it loud enough to hear through the ear plugs and wind noise, I would definitely be alerting the animals that I am coming round the bend.

I have 8ohm MMats wired parallel and bridged to 2 channels and a set of horns on the other 2 channels.
If the stinger was not 2ohm stable I would have to get another amp for the horns so the 6.5s would get enough juice.

I like that bikes lower speakers grills but I can see something falling down and breaking the speaker... lol
That is add on, according to their website. Maybe a regular grill made for the lowers would fit????

Scooper, this is the information listed on Biketronics.com re: Their BT355 Line Leveler.
Mike U.

Our new BT355 Line Leveler allows you to install an aftermarket amp and speaker system on your 2014 and up HD.
  • Removes bass distortion when connecting an amp to the factory 2014+ radio
  • High quality three stage circuit for optimal sound quality and precise filtering
  • Adjustable level and frequency
  • Adapts high (speaker) level inputs to pre-amp outputs
Right. That doesn’t quite answer my question. Let me try again.

It says it removes the crappy bass (the bad HD EQ) and it changes the signals to low level. It has adjustable gain and freq (which most people say to never touch, lol) and it sends out good quality signals. But it doesn’t say whether it’s also adding an EQ “tune” to the output, or just sending out a flat EQ (similar to a basic flash).

I like that look though. Pretty cool. But I know me and my wife, and I know the speaker would be destroyed in no time. And putting a grill underneath would ruin the look i think.

So you like that look too?

So after lusting over the tunes put out on his bike by @Mike U I decided to bug him about his audio ways and he put me on the path....thanks Brotha Man

I was able to get the Stinger SPX700X4 and a set of MMats PA601CX all shipped to my door for less than my Advan Black Refund that I had coming from canceling the lowers order - I'll do the lowers over the Winter and add 2 More MMats then but for the rest of the season, I'll be dash tunes only.

At a dealer, start to Finish with the Flash, Amp & (2) speaker Install....(4) Hours? (6) Hours.? - I don't have an "Audio Guy" so need to trust my dealer with their guy (he did my '17 quite well with my old RoKKer Set up) but since I have sourced the components where as before I bundled them all in with the install, curious as to how may hrs they will come at me with.

Watchathink?
I'm trying a 1200w 4 channel (bridgeable) amp for $98. Has the gain etc adjustments for front and rear channels. Installed a set of super tweeters and a pair of mid range.
