Thunder Beach Spring Rally 2023

I've been there a few times. As compared to Bike week and biketoberfest in Daytona, Thunder Beach rally is lame. You have the local Harley and Indian dealership that have vendors and events. Then there is the sports complex where the majority of vendors and events/entertainment occur. All are within a 2 mile stretch. Traffic is usually a PITA mostly local car traffic. The beaches and hotels are awesome, and some of the biker bars and eateries are also pretty good. As for places to ride to and things to do outside of the rally, there isn't much to do. This is just my opinion.

 

I mean it is Panama City and quite honestly it’s a dump town until the big events come in. Spring Break, Slamfest, Soring Fling Truck meet, Thunder Beach… all of these events keep this town alive. I’m about 6-7hrs away and debating on going over this year but I’m worried about if Covid still has its grips on things there. Most areas have bounced back and I’m hoping it has returned to normal here as well.

 

I live in Tampa and there isn't a mask in sight anywhere down here. I went last year to the event in PCB and there were no masks there either. I do it mainly for the ride there and back.

 

When you go up to PCB where do you stay? We are trying to plan now and if we have to stay a bit from the event we will as we don’t mind riding
