Diggin the Dante Red Fade .. Then the thingy says payments as low as $619 and I go " '11 vivid black looks fine to me " ..
Whats with the surcharge ?
GM is already on their dealers for marking up "market adjustments" and the like , but who knows if they enforce it ..
Bob can get another CVO now with out having to throw five grand in for the tourpak and other stuff like he did on the '19 ..
And what's Mikey gonna do I wonder ..
All the upper crustacean CVO peeps we got here gotta be slobbering all over there selves and each other ..

That color and bike has me seriously considering getting another bike this year instead of waiting. I will not pay a surcharge or dealer fee, that would break the deal for me. It’s not like I need another bike.

As I read the above comments and they all have merit based on your particular situation. What I saw in the presentation is that H-D is creating bikes for ALL We the oldsters are not excluded. The parts desk phones are ringing ready to spruce up your current model.
There are those that will have nothing but a CVO.The 117 ST series RoadGlide/ Street glides are beautiful.
For younger riders the Low Rider ST is a great looking bike capable of touring. While our time in the seat is waning for today we continue to participate in the sport we love knowing that contrary to some the MoCo is intact, moving forward, and no one is left out.

Jack you know the low price they throw out is with little to no money down. a trade in and a check for 10 k and 72 months would get you hopefully under 400.per month and you would have the bike of your dreams until next year at this time !

Personally, I think there are shortages on everything, however I think HD just put another nail in the coffin by adding a surcharge. It's an insult to those of us that supported them when they were building oil leaking junk.
The auto industry is doing the same thing my brother traded his 2017 Silverado. The trans went out, then the dash went black.Bought a 22 GMC and this guy really does his home work the best deal he got was 5 k OVER sticker. And his truck for trade. They said if he had no trade in they could not sell him the truck. He agreed and they gave him a very far price for his trade.
This is how business will be for the foreseeable future.Corporate !

I change plans like I change underwear.....

Those CVO paint are simply gorgeous 😍
I know a certain member probably had an orgasm over that yellow CVO🤣

I'll tell myself a couple more times today, "Iam NOT in the market for a new bike"😁
Not sure if YB had an orgasm or not, but I like it! My 09 will not leave me, but I am going to have to find a Yellow bike on the floor somewhere and see what it really looks like. I might be in trouble!!

I have been lucky so far on vehicles. Company I work for is somehow a preferred partner for several brands so we get to buy at "Dealer Cost" or thats the claim. Been well below MSRP on the last 2. Was looking at parting ways with my 2500 and going back to a dually but can't find a dealership that honors any of the plans due to shortages....
Wish were had some kind of deal like that with HD

OK, I will be honest. I'm not crazy about the design... But I did jiss just a little bit!:LOL::p

I think they both look nice except the price tag. I’d love to have another Big Bird to replace my 2012 tho.

The absolute ONLY way I'd think about a new one is if the new yeller had that same pearl that you two enjoy in yours so much. And they'd still have to give me 30k for my '15.

I agree. It would have to have that pearl in it to make it what it should be. Honestly, I want to see one, but I would probably wait a year or 2 till some of the garage queens start showing up for sale then buy one. I just don't see me giving the price they are asking new.

Which is why we just gave my wife's '08 2500HD a refresh. I explained to her that we will never spend the cost of a new truck keeping hers running.

Agreed I have another brother that has a farm in Indiana he has a 2012 just had new trans put in.New front suspension really went through it found some guys that will pull off the old bed and replace it for 1500 to 3K depending on what extent you wanna go he’s got 110,000 on it he said this is as cheap as I can go to replace it would be 75,000. He also said these truck engines can do an easy 250 to 300,000 miles. The truck industry is an anomaly they are work vehicles and once they became a country cool fashion statement look what it has become .

“ Need and want“ are not terms not to use in the H-D universe. I agree with you to Artificially mark up bikes for reasons real or perceived is not acceptable. The guys I talked to last year at the Height of shortages told me they had customers waiting to buy. Like you I have had sellers remorse.I have owned some great vehicles and our generation were huge contributors to the custom culture.Vans,hotrods,bikes.We were networked, hands on and very aware of BUYERS remorse as you accurately refer.
