I should be picking up my left over 2019 road glide later this week. I’ll have to make sure they updated the Boom. I have my Cerwin B52 amp, bt355 line leveler, infinity kappa 62ix, speakers ready to install.

 

If you have it at the dealer , get them to turn on your WHIM and you can use your apple car play without the module. You will loose it every time you update your GTS at home and then they want you to go to the dealer to turn it back on.

 

I've forgotten to do the last two updates. I really need to get on this and update it already.

 

You didn't miss much with 1.22.0.2, it actually caused some problems. Hopefully the latest version is glitch free.

 

I did mine with 1.22.0.3 this past Saturday. It immediately unpaired my iPhone 8 once installed. Had a helluva time getting it re-paired. Other than that, no issues.

Well, now you have me wondering. I upgraded on Monday, but haven’t tested anything. Guess I know what I’ll be doing today! Can’t ride until tomorrow due to weather.

yes, but you asked about the gt, that specifies gts. 2 different radios.

 

Or do that mean that you can replace the whole 6.5 gt system with a gts?

Yes. You Can remove the 6.5 GT and replace it with the GTS.

also, your info is off. first, the dealer can no longer turn on the whim without the whim being present, and secondly, updating the firmware at home has no effect on enabling/disabling the microphone.

 

I’ve been riding my bike since April. Never did get around to getting it updated but that’s OK I have my music on my memory stick. The only thing I am thinking of doing is using my Sirus Radio through my iphone
