I've been looking at upgrading to a CVO lately. Mainly the 2018 & 2019. I've read some about the sumping issues with those years. Have the CVO's with the 117 engines been affected as well with the sumping problems? Thanks

Some have. A friend of mines 18 CVO Road Glide destroyed itself after less than 400 miles. He got his money back. My 18 seems OK so far. It’s out of warranty now so fingers crossed.
Seems to be hit or miss on them. For every one you hear bad, there might be 20+ good. I'd think real hard about having the 2020 oil pump put in as part of the deal.
All Fueling oil pump, cam chest pushrods, lifters all of it I would consider their cams as well there is some tube stuff that goes thru it all.My take is if the MoCo can't get it right the first time I will not reward them the second.I have all Fueling except cams totally different motor.Good luck
