Some have. A friend of mines 18 CVO Road Glide destroyed itself after less than 400 miles. He got his money back. My 18 seems OK so far. It’s out of warranty now so fingers crossed.

I think some are fitting the 2020 oil pumps.

Some are also affected by the oil migration issue. Mine was and was fixed under warranty by the MoCo with the vent kit.

Seems to be hit or miss on them. For every one you hear bad, there might be 20+ good. I'd think real hard about having the 2020 oil pump put in as part of the deal.

For the sumping...just install the lastest 2020 oil pump....for the oil migration, make sure it has the vent on the primary.

 

My 19 oil pump gives me an excuse to "have" to do the cam kit. Do the cam, pump, lifters, be proactive [emoji16]

 

All Fueling oil pump, cam chest pushrods, lifters all of it I would consider their cams as well there is some tube stuff that goes thru it all.My take is if the MoCo can't get it right the first time I will not reward them the second.I have all Fueling except cams totally different motor.Good luck
